asked questions
1. what is the ideal temperature and humidity to operate
machine?
The unit operates most efficiently at temperatures above
75F(24C) and humidity above 60%.
2. at what temperature and humidity will the unit not
operate?
If set on automatic the unit will not operate below approximately
45%humidity. The unit will operate at temperature below
65F(18C).
3. can the unit be operate below 45%humidity?
Yes, if manual operation is selected the unit can be operated
at less than 45%humidity but will make very little water
below 30% humidity.
4. at what humidity level will the unit not make water?
It will make little or no water below approximately 30%humidity.
5. how often should the filters be replaced?
Filter replaced intervals are dependant on severity and
amount of use .under normal operating conditions the filters
should be replaced yearly.
6. how often should the unit light be replaced?
The UV light usually will last more than one year .but
,for safety purposes it is recommended the light be replaced
yearly at the same time the filters are replaced.
7. why are there two fan speeds?
The high fan speed provides for increased air movement.with
more air movement more water is produced. At a higher fan
speed the noise level is higher.
8. what do I do if the unit produces more water than needed?
The excess water can be drained or collected from the
front spigots or rear drain and kept in a separate container
for later use.
9. how pure is the water?
The water is the purest nature can provide. It does not
come from the ground or the ocean where it can pick up contaminants.it
comes from the air we breath and is then filtered.
Therefore,it is not subjected to the normal cantaminants
and also there is no chemicals added such as chlorine.
